Scientific Formation Process of Natural Stones: Geological Wonders

Doğal Taşların Bilimsel Oluşum Süreci: Jeolojik Harikalar

Natural rocks are formed as a result of geological processes that take millions of years. This process is divided into three basic categories: igneous , sedimentary and metamorphic . Igneous rocks are formed by the cooling of molten rock, while sedimentary rocks are formed by the accumulation of sedimentary layers. Metamorphic rocks are formed when existing rocks undergo structural changes under high pressure and temperature. The chemical composition, mineral structure and environment in which each rock is formed determines its color, hardness and texture.

These wonders of nature, in addition to their aesthetic beauty, are evidence of the tremendous geological processes deep within the earth's crust when examined scientifically. These stones, shaped in the depths of time, continue to fascinate both scientists and collectors.
